Above is a collage with my actual christmas tree in it and a mix of some of my gifts!
I didn't actually get an iPad - my parents have given me a generous amount of money which I, combined with some cash of my own, will use to purchase one in the nearest future - very excited! I never wanted an iPhone (I don't like stuff I always carry with me to be that fragile/valuable), but I see possibilities in this silly, handsome gadget.
Maher and Nikolaj (my roommates) gave me a promotional single of Britney's "Gimme More" single with 13 remixes on it!! That kinda blew my mind. I am planning to play the entire CD soon and see if it will get me into some kind of spiritual state.
My boyfriend bought me a secondhand copy of Lolita - it has the same cover as the one above and I absolutely love it. The book was technically a payback! He lost my old copy on a plane earlier this year! But since this one is way better, he has been forgiven ;> He also got me and him tickets for the Kaizers Orchestra concert in spring 2011. Looking forward to re-experiencing their wacky live shows!
The 42 Raw is a "new" restaurant in Copenhagen that only serves raw food. I still haven't been there so a gift card for lunch from my boyfriend's parents came in handy. I tried a diet of only (95%) raw food for a couple of months some years ago and it was a wonderful experience that is still integrated in the way I eat and think about food today. I think everyone should try at least once in their life to completely change the way they eat for some months/longer/forever. It gives a unique consciousness of the way your usual diet affects your body and mind.

There is no sense behind the toy mammoth besides my brother being random and awesome! He also got me Cranium which I have been wanting to play for such a long time. It seems like a game where you can really use your creativity. And it has modelling wax integrated!
A little after midnight I was picked up by my friend Jo and we then met up with some friends and my boyfriend at a club and merried our christmas up a notch.
My brother had planned to stay in with his wife in their house, since she is heavily pregnant and soon to give birth to their first child (any day now! So excited!), but he never made it back to Denmark for christmas due to flight and train getting cancelled (he works as a pilot in Cologne, Germany). Poor thing!
I hope everyone had a pleasent christmas!
I hope I can find the time to make another update before new year's eve (which I am spending with a group of people I always party with on that night) - I want to make some resolutions for the new year (and most of all I want to keep them!).
