Psycedelic rock and Anton tonight @ Studenterhuset!

Yesterday I enjoyed myself at Anton Newcombe's DJ-set at Bakken, Kødbyen. I walked up to Anton once and said some basic fangirl stuff and then felt too starstruck to go back! He was very polite - but in that almost-too-polite way so that it felt awkward to keep the conversation going for long. Had a wonderful time, though. Which says a lot as I usually feel like I'm in a hipster nightmare when I go anywhere in Kødbyen besides Warehouse9.

Earlier yesterday I learned that I will get another chance to catch Anton while he's here: He will be playing with Blue Angel Lounge (DE) tonight at Studenterhuset. It's only 40DKR if you are a student. The other band playing is called Telstar Sound Drone. Lorenzo Woodrose from Baby Woodrose will be doing some DJ'ing. I don't know the bands' stuff at all besides a few tracks Anton played last night, but I am checking out their Myspaces now and it sounds really good. So does the description of the event: Go go check it out!
